Problems Running the Scan on a PC not Connected to the Internet or Installing Device Drivers on your PC?

This step-by--step driver installation guide will show you how to run the scan on a PC that is not connected to the internet and also will guide you with the installation of your newly downloaded drivers.

Running the SCAN on a PC not connected to the internet

  • Download DriverAgent and save it to your USB-stick or Diskette
  • Take the USB-stick or Diskette to the Disconnected PC and run the DriverAgent program
  • While the splash screen is visible, press and release the 'F6' key
  • When DriverAgent has finished, it will display a text file containing 'XML' data, copy this file back to your USB-stick or diskette. If it displays a page in your web browser, you were too late pressing the 'F6' key, so run DriverAgent again.
  • Take the Usb-stick or Diskette back to this computer (the computer that is connected to the internet)
  • Copy the text from within the XML text file into the white space area on this page. (click to open)
  • Click on the 'locate drivers' button to locate the drivers needed for the Disconnected PC. Down the report page underneath the good / bad driver list is a horizontal line. On this line on the right is "scanID XXXXXXXX"
  • Copy and paste the SCAN ID in the Driver Chat Window.
